Excellent and friendly staff who were very helpful. Room is standard but nice and clean with a lush green view. Restrooms are also clean and have everything you would need.
In terms of food, breakfast was great. For lunch and dinner I would recommend getting the Sri Lankan food - the prawns I had had a strange taste. Other menu items were good though.
It’s also kid friendly and they are mindful of dietary restrictions.
We loved our stay ay Jetwing Candy Gallery. We booked a deluxe room, the room was spacious and clean. The service was excellent and the staff was very friendly. There was a designated butler assigned to us Chalani and she was the very nice and friendly. The food was delicious, healthy and nutritious. The hotel was very calm and relaxing. One of the best places I've been. Highly Recommended!
Located in a very calm environment. Great place to relax your busy days. Service is great. Friendly staff will take care of you so don’t worry if you’re coming alone. Food is delicious, & should mention the view of Mahaweli river is breathtaking. You should see it by your eyes.
My experience at Jetwing Gallery Kandy was thoroughly disappointing. The welcome was lackluster, with staff appearing surprised to have us, and there wasn't even a welcome drink. The entire setup felt rigid, and despite being in a perfect location, the service was horrendous. The potential of the place is overshadowed by poor management.
Having visited various Jetwing locations, including Yala, Blue, Beach, Sands, and St. Andrews, I've never encountered worse customer service. The refusal to let us use the pool without booking a room added to the frustration. Attempting to discuss this with the general manager proved futile, as he claimed to be too busy, reflecting a disappointing management style that seems to permeate the entire organization.
It's disheartening to witness such a gem of a location tarnished by Jetwing Gallery Kandy's subpar standards. Urgent changes in top management or comprehensive training are imperative for this establishment to meet the high standards associated with the Jetwing brand. We ultimately left for Earls Regency, where the service contrast was strikingly superior. Despite its scenic beauty, Jetwing Gallery Kandy falls short in delivering the hospitality Sri Lanka is renowned for, especially in a culturally rich city like Kandy.
We stayed here with friends in July 2023. It was the dry season and the river had less water and the lawn was all brown. But I am sure during a rainy season the view would have been spectacular. Even with all brown surroundings, the view over looking the pool was nice.
The staff is really nice and attentive. Rooms were comfortable and had all what we require. Restaurant served a`la carte and lack options. In my personal view they can improve the menu options and the portion sizes.
There is a small rock in front of the hotel and we climbed that with the hotel naturalist. You can have a bird's eye view of the area atop the mountain including the knuckles mountain range.
We also visited the Bellwood area from the hotel.
Visit in August. A wonderful stay, with absolutely beautiful rooms and lovey staff. Highly recommend food and the pool. Lovey fellow named Sakuna server us throughout and was very pleasant. Would love to visit again!
This is of course, one of the finest boutique hotels in the Kandy though it is not popular in Sri Lanka. This resort is located in a remote peaceful area which is nearby Mahavali river bank & They have a top-notch pool with an amazing view.
The rooms are spacious and luxurious with modern looking. No buffet is available & A la carte menus are there since it does not accommodate number of guests at a time. The foods are also super delicious The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The overall experience was absolutely remarkable & Highly recommended.
Jetwing Kandy Gallery is the latest addition to the Jetwing hotels and it was opened to public not more than 2 years ago. Staying in the Jetwing Kandy Gallery was an amazing experience and felt that I was just a part of an incredible piece of art.
This boutique hotel is situated little far from the busiest Kandy city. The property is located facing the gorgeous “Mahaweli River” giving a picturesque view. It is mesmerizing to see the blending of these natural colors pleasing the eyes.
All the rooms are built facing the Mahaweli River and have a breathtaking view. The atmosphere is calm and quiet, no disturbances, you may relax your busy mind and soul as you please.
Hotel will arrange a personalized butler to look after you during your stay. The General Manager, Mr. Dilip and his team will go above and beyond to bring your dreams to a reality. It is not just mere customer satisfaction. Kudos to them. And I have no words to convey my gratitude to this incredible, friendly staff who made my stay a remarkable experience.
Hotel decoration are done following Kandyan architecture and the aesthetic taste. Lobby ceiling represent the “Gini Bola” in Kandy Perehera. Base colors of the hotel is red and yellow which was basically the base colors of Kandyan arts.
Food was incredible and if the weather permits you can enjoy your dinner under the thousand of stars embracing the cool breeze from the Mahaweli River.
And I must say their “Ayo Spa” is incredible.
The hotel is a great value addition to the amount spent.
I highly recommend this place if you really want to blend with the nature.
